Hugh Marr FPGA
Hugh Marr (Performance Director of Premium Golf Consulting) is one of the UK's leading coaches of elite players. He holds coaching positions with The Surrey County Golf Union (Head Coach), the English Golf Union (EGU) National Under-16 School of Excellence, EGU Regional Programme, and the English Women's Golf Association Super Birdies squad. He is also the technical and tactical expert for The England Golf Partnership's Junior Development Programme and a regular contributor to Golf World magazine.
Hugh's player-centred approach addresses all aspects of the game including strength and conditioning, the mental game, biomechanics, equipment technology and nutrition in order for each of his pupils to achieve continual development without sacrificing ongoing performance. However, his philosophy also encourages each individual to identify their own style and nurtures natural flair throughout the development process. Hugh's long running commitment to performance coaching has resulted in great success not only for his individual pupils but also for the Surrey Boys' team, who were national champions in 2007.
In recognition of his achievements as a coach, Hugh has been awarded Fellowship of the Professional Golf Association.
